Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Service Area

Yum Bowls delivers only inside partner apartment communities that we have onboarded. You may place orders only for delivery to an approved community. We may add, change, or remove serviceable communities, and we may decline or cancel orders outside our service area, at any time.

3. Your Account

You sign in using Google. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You agree to provide and maintain accurate contact and delivery details (phone number, community, and flat number) so we can fulfil your orders. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Orders & Subscriptions

• Daily orders. Choose a Veg or Non-Veg bowl, an optional sauce, a delivery date, and a time slot.
• Monthly plans. A monthly subscription covers Monday–Saturday deliveries (24 deliveries over four weeks) and includes a sauce. Each plan includes up to 3 skip days, and each skip extends the plan by one day.
• Delivery slots may be booked up to one week in advance, subject to availability. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline.

5. Pricing & Payment

• Daily — Veg ₹180, Non-Veg ₹220. Sauce add-on +₹20 (daily only).
• Monthly — Veg ₹3,999, Non-Veg ₹4,999 (sauce included).
• You may pay online or by cash on delivery where offered. Online payments are handled by our third-party payment provider, and your use of that provider is subject to its terms.
• Prices are shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time. In the event of an obvious pricing or typographical error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders and scheduled deliveries are refundable until one day (24 hours) before the delivery date. Once an order has entered preparation, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within a reasonable period. To request a cancellation or refund, contact us using the details below.

7. Delivery

We aim to deliver within your chosen time slot to the flat and community on your order. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order. Risk in the food passes to you on delivery. We are not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect details, no one being available to receive the order, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Food Safety, Allergens & Health

Our bowls are prepared fresh from handpicked ingredients in facilities that may also handle common allergens (such as dairy, nuts, soy, and gluten). We cannot guarantee that any item is free from a particular allergen. If you have food allergies, intolerances, or dietary or medical conditions, you are responsible for checking suitability and contacting us before ordering. The Service and any nutritional information are provided for general purposes only and are not medical or dietary advice.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by interfering with its operation, attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping or harvesting data, introducing malicious code, placing fraudulent orders, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

All content, branding, trademarks, designs, recipes, sauces, and preparation methods are the property of Yum Bowls or its licensors and are protected as confidential, proprietary, and trade-secret material. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial ordering only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive our recipes, ingredients, or content.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, and payments, and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yum Bowls and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yum Bowls and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, weather, strikes, supply shortages, utility or network failures, government actions, or public-health events.

16. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Sections intended to survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the following, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably in good faith. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated at Hyderabad, Telangana, India, conducted in English.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Effective” / “Last updated” dates above, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Yum Bowls regarding the Service.
